I am a mixed media artist who passionately creates richly layered, meaningful artwork. I find immense intrigue in unraveling the narratives woven within each layer of paper, paint, fabric, photos, words, and various artifacts that make up my artwork. As I craft each piece, my ultimate goal is to artfully and engagingly articulate not only the stories of my own life but also the captivating tales of others that I create for. My artistic approach is deeply rooted in the profound interplay of materials and stories, seeking to evoke emotions and spark contemplation within the hearts of those who view my creations.

My artwork is deeply rooted in my unwavering faith in God, drawing inspiration from the timeless wisdom of scripture and the transformative power of His presence in my journey and in the lives of those in my community. It is my heartfelt desire to illuminate God's enduring message through the vibrant colors and intricate strokes of my art, embracing the divine gifts given to me to bring joy and solace to those who encounter my creations.

I've had a love for art all of my life. I began art lessons at a young age and continued to pursue art throughout my school years. I went on to receive a BFA in Art Education and taught art in the public school system for several years before deciding to stay at home with my children. I now include painting as a part of my days, along with keeping up with my busy family! I have also been teaching painting classes for the last several years at our local Painting With a Twist studio and thoroughly enjoy introducing the art of creating into peoples lives, many of whome have never painted before!.

Creating art for me is like breathing; it is part of the fabric of my soul, my being, and I have to do it! I truly hope you will find inspiration and encouragement through my artwork.
